A Season of Gratitude and God's Blessings

November always brings changes. The weather seems to get a bit cooler. In many places we see leaves begin to change or really start falling from the trees.
Change comes to our minds and hearts as well. We begin to think about the things in our lives we are thankful for. Thanksgiving brings about the thoughts of having family and friends close by and sharing food and fellowship together.
Another change that happens is in the life of the church. We begin to work on upcoming celebrations of not only Thanksgiving, but Christmas, when we celebrate the birth of Christ. I for one love this time of the year. It is by far my favorite time in church.
I can truly say that this past year has been one that I can reflect on and see how God has blessed Shell Point. We've seen people come to know Christ in real ways in their life and to have the number of baptisms we have had and how God's spirit can be felt by all who come, is a true heart felt change we have experienced here.
Crystall and I are truly blessed to be a part of Shell Point, and we so look forward to what God has in store for our future here as well.
I have grown so much in my spirit being here as your pastor and it has helped me to dig deeper into God's word to help each of you to grow closer to Christ in your relationship.
May God continue to change us all to be more like Him each day and may you all receive blessings beyond your imagination.
God Bless
Pastor Mark
