250 Years of the American Experience

Shell Point is now moving forward into new territory again as we are seeking to put a permanent pastor in place. As I look over the needs of the church, I see so much that we need to focus on in the near future. Just talking about hoping to see more people come to the church, in no way will that fill the seats.

In fact, that is not a biblical concept. We must be willing to go and find those who need Jesus and bring them in to the church and teach them about the freedom that we as Christians have in Jesus.

The Bible tells us in Romans 6:22 that we are set free from sin through Jesus and we are to serve God knowing that one of the benefits resulting from our belief in Christ is eternal life. I pray that we will never lay aside our responsibilities to go and reach the lost for Jesus and just be comfortable in our relationship with Christ.

The freedom we have in Christ is something that we cannot give to anyone by just inviting them in, we must be willing to teach them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. I pray for each of you to be the Christians that God has called us to be and that you will live in the freedom that you have in Christ.

Be Blessed and know that I am praying for you all.

God Bless,

Pastor Mark
