Honoring Those Who Nurtured Us: A Message for May

May is always a special time, because we celebrate mothers in May. By the time May rolls around we are getting into gardens being planted, flowers are normally in full bloom and the days of summer are definitely upon us.

As we look forward to the year ahead, I hope that you are excited about new opportunities to minis- try and new ministries that we can start to reach more people for Jesus. For those of you who are blessed to still have your mothers with you I hope that you will honor them daily and show them the love they so richly deserve.

Maybe God placed someone in your life that treated you like a mother and showed you love like a mother, honor them and show them love like God would have us love each other. This will be the first year that I personally will not have my mother here, as she passed away earlier this year. But, I feel that she is with me each and every day as I live my life and pray that I can honor her by loving the family and people that God has placed in my life I pray that May will bring to you a renewed love for what God is doing here at Shell Point and that we can together be workers in lock step to build Gods Kingdom here on this earth.

Greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world. With that, we can do all thing to Gods glory.
