July 4, 1776

This is the day that the continental congress ratified the U.S. Declaration of Independence. This set into action the course of a new nation and brought freedom from the oppression of a king.

As we consider this and knowing that the 250th Anniversary of this historic event is coming in 2026. We can be thankful that God has watched over us as a nation and guided us through some tough and treacherous times.

Much like this is our own personal journeys that we find ourselves on in this life. We have been through tough times that have tested our faith and made us question the path that we travel.

Only when we surrender our lives to the guiding hand of Jesus and follow His lead, will we understand what true freedom means. Independence from the snares of the enemy the devil and walking in the light of Christ knowing that we have an eternal home with Him in heaven. God is good to each of us and He drives us to be our best for Him and to lead others to Him as we navigate the battles we face day by day.
